Cubic launches MAXROAM for Chromebook

Cubic Telecom announced today the launch of its new Maxroam for Chromebook mobile connectivity product. Chromebook 3G users can now purchase simple, competitive connectivity bundles on an exclusive SIM card which works in 55 countries across Europe, USA, Asia & Australia.

With Maxroam for Chromebook, a customer can purchase from a range of local and international data plans, called passes, which can be used in multiple countries without having to worry about currencies, changing SIM cards or bill shock. For example, a customer can buy a UK day pass for just 99p (€1.17 or US$1.58), a Europe day pass (for use in UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, and Poland) for £4.99 (€5.89 or US$7.97) or a Global day pass for £12 (€14.17 or US$19.17) – all on the same SIM card. Competitively priced weekly and monthly passes are also available.

Maxroam for Chromebook SIMs come in special packs and are available online at chrome.maxroam.com. They come ready to use and are pre-loaded with 400MB of data.

CEO Barry Napier said “Cubic has worked with Google to design an innovative international mobile connectivity solution for Chromebook 3G users. With Maxroam for Chromebook, customers are getting the peace of mind of “always-on” Internet access at prices that help to manage costs whereever they are.”
